Welcome to GZ, a web application dedicated to generating global demographic statistics. We respect and protect your privacy. This privacy policy describes the types of information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights as a user.

1. Information Collected

a) Information Provided Voluntarily

When using our application, you may voluntarily submit the following information:

• Date of birth
• Country of birth
• Gender

b) No Automatic Collection

We do not automatically collect any data (such as cookies or browsing information).

2. Use of Information

We use the information you provide exclusively to:

• Analyze and generate anonymous statistics on births (by day, month, year, country, gender, age, etc.).
• Identify demographic trends for educational and historical purposes.

Your data will never be used for marketing, advertising, or other purposes.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not share your information with third parties except in the following strictly necessary cases:

• Service Providers: We use Google Cloud (Firebase) to host your data and PayPal for managing donations. These partners also commit to adhering to strict privacy standards.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may be obliged to disclose your data to meet legal obligations.

Outside of these cases, your data is neither sold, rented, nor exchanged with anyone.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is protected by rigorous measures, including:

• Encryption: All communications between your device and our servers are secured via SSL/TLS protocols.
• Secure Hosting: Your data is stored on the secure servers of Google Cloud, located in the United States, which comply with international data protection standards.

We also ensure that:

• Submitted data is immediately aggregated and anonymized.
• No information is traceable to an individual user.

5. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• After submission, a reset icon appears, allowing you to delete your data at any time as long as your session remains active.
• Once your session is closed or expired, your data is irreversibly anonymized and can no longer be deleted.

We retain this aggregated data for long-term research and analysis. However, in the case of a major issue or at your request, we commit to deleting all collected data.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not use any cookies or tracking technologies.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred and stored in the United States, where our servers are located. We ensure that all data is processed in accordance with international data protection laws and with the same security levels.

8. Retention Period

We retain anonymized data indefinitely to ensure its usefulness for future demographic analyses. However, no identifiable data is retained beyond the user's active session.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Any significant changes will be communicated via our application or by email.
